FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: installation for mechanical tests of samples out of fissible materials at higher temperatures consists of working chamber with grippers for sample, of loading mechanism, of heater, of recording instruments, of cooling jacket, and of cooling channels made at least in one of grippers. Also one working chamber is placed into a pressure tight glove box for testing sample out of fissible material. The recording instrumentation is installed directly on a working part of the sample and on a cooled gripper. The loading mechanism corresponds to a lever with load at one side connected with the gripper, while at another side it is connected with a hydraulic jack with valve. Vacuum is maintained in the pressure tight working chamber during tests. Signals from the recording instruments enter control-measuring instruments and successively - from them to a computer.
EFFECT: facilitating mechanical tests of fissible materials at higher temperature; obtaining diagrams of deformation and curves of creepage with rates of deformation in range of 10-2 - 10-4 s-1 s and simultaneously protection of personnel and environment from effect of tested fissible materials.
