FIELD: medicine; medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing solution in solvent of hydrated unsaturated substrate compound and substrate compound hydrating catalyst. The solution is introduced as drops into chamber containing hydrogen gas (H2) enriched in para-hydrogen (p-1H2) and/or ortho-deuterium (o-2H2) for hydrating the substrate with the aim to produce hydrated image visualization agent. The hydrated image visualization agent is optionally treated with magnetic field possessing lower field intensity when compared to surrounding Earth magnetic field. The image visualization agent is optionally solved in aqueous medium, the solvent is separated from the image visualization agent solution in the aqueous medium and the image visualization agent solution is optionally frozen in the aqueous medium. The device has hydrating chamber having outlet opening for discharging liquid into tube connected to the inlet opening of liquid drop production unit directed to solvent discharge chamber. The hydrating chamber has inlet opening for delivering hydrogen and an inlet opening for delivering solution and additionally has unit for producing liquid drops. Tube has chamber for discharging catalyst mounted between the hydrating chamber and chamber for discharging solvent. It has inlet for introducing liquid. Chamber for taking solvent discharge measurements has outlet opening for discharging liquid.
EFFECT: evoked radiopaque agent hyperpolarization.
