FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: sensor has two waveguides differing in lengths. Waveguides are separated by electric tablet. Receiving waveguide is made of metal in form of stepped rod. The other waveguide is made of metal in shape of cylinder. Porosity of the cylinder reduces uniformly from the end to free end. The edge is brought in contact with piezoelectric tablet. Edge surface of waveguide end has a pyramidal-shaped profile. Side surface has saw-shaped or thread-shaped profile. Diameter of cylinder excesses over diameter of piezoelectric tablet. Device can be used for measuring pulsing pressure of high power hydrodynamic disturbances.

EFFECT: widened range of measurement; reduced overall dimensions; improved protection from external electromagnetic radiation.
