FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and can be used to measure pulsed rapidly alternating pressures, in particular to measure pulsed pressures resulting from a collision with a sensor of shock-induced metal particles of sub- and micrometer size moving at speeds of 1.5-5 km/s. The sensor includes a piezosensitive element with electrodes attached to the end of an acoustic waveguide made in the form of a rod, the electrodes are provided with terminals for connection to the recording device. The sensor on the side of the piezosensitive element is closed by a screen electrically connected to the housing with which one of the electrodes of the piezosensitive element is connected, the other electrode contacts the waveguide, and its terminal is placed in a dielectric sleeve, the free volume of which is filled with a compound. The gaps and voids between the screen and the piezosensitive element are filled with a compound without a conductive filler, the piezosensitive element and the acoustic waveguide are made of materials with the same acoustic stiffness, the size of the piezosensitive element is selected from the following ratio of its diameter D to thickness L: D/L≥8.
EFFECT: expansion of the operational capabilities of the sensor.
