SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of an agent of vegetable origin and can be used as a sedative agent in adult in different neuropathic responses accompanying with irritability, insomnia, anxiety, fear and so on. The composition eliciting sedative and anxiolytic effect represents liquid extract prepared by alcoholic extraction of mixture consisting of motherwort herb, medicinal common balm herb, wild rose fruits, purple coneflower herb and haw-thorn fruits taken in the definite ratio of components. Agent exerts the positive effect on working capacity, it doesn't cause myorelaxation or soporofic effect.
