FIELD: oil pollution elimination sorbents.
SUBSTANCE: polymeric porous sorbents possessing magnetic properties, which can be used for removal of petroleum, lubricating oils, mazut, and fuels from water and ground surfaces, are prepared on porous magnetic matrix obtained from cross-linked or super-cross-linked (co)polymer with degree of cross-linking at least 60%, specific surface 800-1900 m2/g, and content of open pores 600-100% on the total pore volume, and using filler with particle size 1 to 10 mcm.
EFFECT: increased flotability, mechanical strength, and atmosphere resistance and achieved high absorption capacity regarding petroleum and petroleum derivatives.
