FIELD: synthesis gas generation catalysts.

SUBSTANCE: catalyst for low-temperature conversion of CO with water steam is prepared by mixing solutions of ammonia-carbonate complexes of copper and zinc at 80-90оС and copper oxide-to-zinc oxide weight ratio between 1:1 and 7:1 and adding calcium and/or barium aluminate to resulting copper zinc-ammonia-carbonate solution at its weight ratio to (CuO+ZnO) between 1:19 and 1:2 and calcium aluminate to barium aluminate 1:1, followed by drying and tableting of catalyst paste.

EFFECT: increased activity and temperature resistance.
