FIELD: ecology, industrial microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the environment safety field and can be used in recreating petroleum-polluted soils. Method involves sampling from petroleum-polluted surface, selection of hydrocarbon-oxidizing microorganisms in liquid mineral medium with addition of oil from pollution points at incubation temperatures +50C, +150C, +250C and +350C, selection of cultures for reseeding in 5, 10 and 15 days, reseeding prepared cultures and further accumulation of selected microorganisms in fermenters under conditions that are optimal for isolated microorganisms. Then petroleum-polluted region is treated with accumulated bacterial preparations based on aboriginal microorganisms. Method enhances the probability for search of the most active representatives of hydrocarbon-oxidizing microflora able to utilize hydrocarbons at low positive temperatures, allows reducing consumptions for manufacturing the preparation. The application of these biopreparations gives the probability to begin treatment of petroleum-polluted region in early spring or to purify the region from petroleum pollution for a single vegetation season.
