FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: control valve of axial type is installed in pipeline, it consists of a housing with inlets and outlets, the housing is provided with piston with possibility of reciprocating movement connected to the drive by a spindle. The housing connected also to the drive by means of stop is provided with central through opening and through openings located coaxial to the housing passing to diffuser cavity formed by control sleeve and a seat located in it installed on outlet of the housing; piston operating edges are of variable cross-section.
EFFECT: simplifying the structure, improving reliability during operation, reducing the medium flow turbulence.
