FIELD: bulk material drier used in food-processing, chemical, microbiological and pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: drier has vertical casing divided by gas distributing grid-free surfaces into tiered chambers communicating with one another through transfer windows formed in grid-free surfaces. Chambers are made in the form of semi-circles attached at predetermined pitch to outer surface of casing for supplying gas to each chamber and for discharging gas of predetermined temperature therefrom. Respective transfer windows are connected with one another through branch pipes for successive transfer of material from higher chamber into lower chamber.
EFFECT: improved quality of ready product and increased efficiency owing to intensified heat and mass exchange procedures in the process of symmetric vibration and stepped drying mode of operation.
