FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform trials according to feline age groups beginning from 2 mo of age up to 2 yr. Interval between age periods up to 4-mo-aged period corresponds to 15 d, and since 4 mo of age up to 2 yr this interval corresponds to 30 d. In these intervals one should prepare bones of peripheral skeleton against soft tissues to measure the length of a bone, medullary canal, epiphysis efficient for withdrawing a dowel out of a bone, and, also, minimal diameter of medullary canal which should be measure with metal needles at different diameter due to introducing them into medullary canal at its whole length. One should meat the requirements for tough insertion of a needle into medullary canal and impossibility for applying the needle with diameter being above 0.1 mm. The method deals with matching dowels' parameters for a certain bone at a certain age.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of matching.
