FIELD: signal coding method and device for subscriber unit of wireless communication system.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for coding signal at variable transfer speed includes generation of frame incorporating constant number of characters. To this end source frame of coded characters is interleaved to produce sequence of interleaved characters, the latter are repeated more than once, and part of interleaved character sequence is added. Number of repetitions and size of part of interleaved character sequence are based on number of code characters in source frame of code characters.
EFFECT: provision for generating frame with permanent number of characters.
