FIELD: rocket-space technology, in particular, construction of rocket boosting pods as components of space rockets designed for injection of various space objects from the supporting orbit to the working orbits.
SUBSTANCE: the rocket boosting pod has a sustainer engine, oxidant tank with a frame, fuel tank, intertank compartment, truss of conjugation to the useful load and a truss of conjugation to the launch vehicle. The oxidant tank is fastened with its frame between the frame of the intertank compartment and the frame of the truss of conjugation to the useful load forming a power row of the pod structural members.
EFFECT: enhanced mass characteristics of the pod due to perfection of fastening of the oxidant tank.
