FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; designing rocket cryogenic stages included in space rockets. SUBSTANCE: proposed rocket cryogenic stage includes oxidizer and fuel tanks, auxiliary engine plant, bearing truss for mating with launch vehicle, truss for mating with payload, cruise engine suspension frame and brackets for securing auxiliary engine plant, as well as inter-tank compartment. Fitted on high-boiling fuel tank are hermetic containers with control instruments and automatic units working at temperature compatible with high-boiling fuel tank. Gain in mass of payload ranges from 0.5 to 1.5%. EFFECT: improved service and mass characteristics. 1 dwg
