FIELD: improved method for separation of functionalized alpha-olefins.
SUBSTANCE: method includes treatment of raw material, containing functionalized alpha-olefins and functionalized non-end olefins, and comprises the next steps: a) raw material is contacted with linear polyaromatic compound at condition effective to provide reaction mixture, containing adduct of linear polyaromatic compound and functionalized alpha-olefin; b) adduct of linear polyaromatic compound and functionalized alpha-olefin and optionally unreacted linear polyaromatic compound are recovered from reaction mixture to produce stream of functionalized alpha-olefin adduct and stream of functionalized non-end olefin adduct: c) adduct of linear polyaromatic compound and functionalized alpha-olefin is dissociated in mentioned stream of functionalized alpha-olefin adduct to produce linear polyaromatic compound and composition of functionalized alpha-olefins; and optionally d) linear polyaromatic compound from step c) is recovered from composition of functionalized alpha-olefins, wherein concentration of functionalized alpha olefins in mentioned composition becomes higher, than that in raw material, either non-end olefins or alpha-olefins have at least one double bond in aliphatic or cycloaliphatic site, and olefin has functional group other than C-C-unsaturated one, selected from ketone or hydroxyl group.
EFFECT: improved method for separation of functionalized alpha-olefins from functionalized non-end olefins.
