FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing portioned feeding of alloying materials at the moment electrode current is switched off into melting space in time periods equal to Δt=0.2 m/v, where m is weight of liquid metal bath in stationary melting period, kg; v is speed of ingot fusing-on, kg/s. Alloying materials are fed into center of slag bath through funnel allowing admixtures to be introduced at distance from crystallizer inner wall at least equal to 1/4 of inner radius of crystallizer.
EFFECT: improved quality of multilayer ingots owing to strict layer-by-layer distribution of alloying components in ingot on periodical feeding thereof into melting space and elimination of lowering of electrical parameters of electroslag remelting process.
