FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical metallurgy, in particular to method of manufacturing of multilayered steel ingots by pulse electroslag remelting. The pulse electroslag remelting is performed with change of pulses frequency of combined consumable electrode, made with areas having different chemical composition depending on the required steel chemical composition at the given ingot area; at that the pulse electroslag remelting of the lower and top layers of the ingot is executed with modulation of the heat flow of slag and metal baths, directed from the slag bath through the crystallization front to the ingot body, with time period equal to tome constant of the heat process of the slag bath, and with pulse ratio equal to 2; at that the middle layer of the ingot is melted at frequency of the resonant oscillations of surface of the liquid metal bath.
EFFECT: invention increases quality of metal of the multilayered ingot due to decreasing of length of the border areas with increased gradient of concentrations of the elements of the adjacent layers along the ingot axis, and decreasing in them of the gradient of concentration of elements through the ingot cross-section without increasing of ESR productivity, as well as improvement of the alloying element recovery and its uniform distribution through volume of the middle layer and border areas of the ingot layers.
