FIELD: track facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for inspection f hydraulic track instruments, including rail joint expanders, at track maintenance department before maintenance crew turns up for inspection of track section. Proposed stand contains base and two rails made in form of two rail houses arranged coaxially on base. One of rail houses is rigidly secured on base and the other is installed for free displacement along common axis of rail houses. Stand is additionally furnished with lever arranged square to rail axis, one of ends of the lever being hinge-secured on base, and the other is provided with stop screw. Stand has cantilever one end of which is rigidly secured on base and the other is furnished with tension screw on working end of which plate is secured. It has also compression spring installed on body of tension screw between cantilever and plate coaxially with stop screw, and nut with pointer interacting with tension screw and cantilever and thrusting against cantilever, and panel with scale secured on cantilever. Invention makes it possible to determine possibility of rail joint expander to develop expanding efforts on any length of hydraulic cylinders and improve reliability of operation of expander bodies wedging mechanism.

EFFECT: improved reliability of checking and operation.
