FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: machine tool has bed, drive with a motor, movable platform and servomechanism made of a planet gear for converting rotation motion into the reciprocation. The planet gear has housing, epicycle, satellite which permanently engages the epicycle and provided with the shaft, and cranks secured to the ends of the shaft. The cranks are provided with pins fixed to the base through bearings for permitting their coaxial rotation. The movable platform serves as the housing of the planet converter.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced efficiency and reliability.
