FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method includes projecting image of portion of surface of object to be examined to receiving area of video camera, where it interferes with supporting beam, phase of which changes linearly in time. Computer element-wise processing of video sequence of interference diagrams allows to single out interference component from common signal, which allows, while using value of intensiveness of support radiation substantially greater than intensiveness of dispersed radiation, to substantially lower error of measurements in comparison to known methods.

EFFECT: lower error of measurements of dispersed radiation intensiveness distribution.
