FIELD: applied optics.

SUBSTANCE: method of measuring sizes and multiple dispersivity of particles suspended in liquid is based upon measurement of spectra of small-angle light dissipation of tested sample by means of double-beam spectrophotometer; discrete Fourier transforming of achieved spectrum; building of calibration dependence by means of smallest square unit method to increase sensitivity during analysis of particles suspended in liquid and to widen range of parameters of particles to be me measured. To be able to measure not only attenuation spectra (extinction) but dissipation spectra as well, spectrophotometer is equipped with members providing ability of installation of non-transparent screen in front of focusing lens of that channel, which screen holds passing radiation. Position of dish containing sample in dish department can be changed to adjust angles of dissipation.

EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.
