FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and concerns a wide-aperture device for measuring the energy of high-intensity impulses of laser radiation. Device includes a laser light source, input attenuator of laser radiation, diffusing medium in form of diffusion-scattering plate, distribution channel scattered laser radiation, photodiode, measuring and computing unit. Distribution channel scattered laser radiation formed of a fibre-optic connector, stepped attenuator, spectral filter and neutral attenuator. Fibre-optic collector is a set of optical fibres, contained in the inlet and outlet frames. Output frame includes additional diffuse diffuser made of milk glass. Distance between the diffusing plate and an input collector frame is 8-10 mm.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy, wider range of measured energy and range of diameters of the laser beam.
