FIELD: medicine, laboratory diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: erythrocytic suspension should be standardized due to dissolving erythrocytic mass with physiological solution at 1:3 ratio and centrifuging for 15 min followed by diluting 0.01 ml erythrocytic residue in 4.0 ml physiological solution. One should add acid hemolytic as 1%-acetic acid solution, detect the value of light penetration by performing parallel recording for alteration of average erythrocytic size and the value of light penetration by making up graphs to determine the time for registration of maximal average erythrocytic size and average rate of hemolysis. One should calculate the index of acid stability in erythrocytes (IAS) by the following formula: IAS=t_dmax/gVm, where t_dmax - time for registering maximal average radius of erythrocytes, sec, gVm - average rate of hemolysis, c.u., the value of IAS ranged 0.50-0.68 is considered to be normal. The application of the present innovation enables to evaluate the values of rigidity and stability in erythrocytic pool necessary for predicting anemias of different origin.
