FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has external fixing belt manufactured from flexible material having controllable fastening members at its ends and connected to an internal supporting belt having rigidity members. The supporting belt has three alternating broad and two narrow areas so that ending broad areas correspond to abdominal cavity of human body and are overlayable and fixable one over the other. Rigidity members are manufactured as plastic ribs mounted on the middle broad area corresponding to dorsal part of the human body. The fastening members available in the end portions of the fixing belt are engageable with the corresponding fastening member part on the external part of the external area of the corresponding ending broad area of the supporting belt. The supporting belt has two quilted mat layers. The rigidity ribs are mounted in pockets formed between the material layers in transverse direction distant one from the other. The supporting belt has optionally wavy outline with narrowed and rounded end portions for catching them with hands. The fixing belt has straight-line boundary with rounded end portions. The supporting belt is manufactured from natural material like linen or its narrow portions have inserts manufactured from flexible material. the fixing belt has tricot strips superposed one over the other with their edge portions. The fastening members are of contact type. The supporting belt is bordered with ribbon on its perimeter and the fixing one in the vicinity of the fastening member. The belts are optionally connected to each other with vertical suture along their middle part. The bandage is packed in polyethylene package.

EFFECT: improved operation properties of the device; usability in early postoperative period.
