FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention to systems including railway network and stations. Proposed railway system contains rolling stock and rail tracks laid on overhead road to which approach tracks are laid arranged in zone of shunting station. Said approach tracks are located on ground bed. Inclined descending and ascending tracks for rail cars adjoin upper base of overhead road at definite space at both side of overhead road. Said inclined sections of tracks are furnished with switches at ends to connect upper ends of rail track of inclined sections with main tracks of overhead road, and lower ones with rails of approach tracks, respectively, to provide delivery of cars out of train on main track, putting them on approach tracks or taking cars from approach tracks and placing them on overhead road track.

EFFECT: simple design of system, provision of high throughput and trafficability of road at low expenses.
