FIELD: shipbuilding; profiling of ship's bull outlines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed hull has stem engageable with sides lying in parallel vertical planes opposite each other and symmetrically relative to axial line; they terminate at stern. Ship is also provided with pair of bilges located on sides from axial line. Each bilge forms lower edge of sides. Beginning of edge is located near stem under waterline. Said lower edge of side formed by each bilge describes continuous longitudinal line running towards stern. Ship's hull has keel beginning near stem and running along axial line on lower portion of hull at length which is lesser than distance between stem and midsection. Ship's hull has bottom extending on side from axial line between bilges and between each bilge and keel in section where keel is located. Surface of bottom has such shape in cross sections made at right angle relative to axial line that these sections form family of curves which are convex upward. Pair of longitudinal passages turned with bottom upward extends over sides from keel forming single longitudinal bottom passage. Side walls of this passage have increased curvature of aft cross sections. Ship's hull bottom has such shape of diffuser that cross-sectional area first of both longitudinal passages together and then cross-sectional area of single longitudinal bottom passage continuously increases from stem to stern which is necessary for converting the kinetic energy of flow to energy of pressure.
EFFECT: improved seagoing characteristics of ship.
