FIELD: materials handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to load-gripping devices and it can be used for handling flat loads and T-shaped and U-shaped loads with grips applied to flat horizontal members. Proposed crossmember contains two flat frames consisting of upper, lower and vertical members assembled into common spatial structure by means of three braces with adjusting slots on bolts. Upper members are furnished with rockers and articulated hold-downs, and mounting hinges. Lower members are furnished with detachable stops fitted in any hole to suit overall dimensions of load.
EFFECT: simplified balancing and fastening of load on crossmember, excluding heel and trim, breaks and slipping when handling loads of different sizes.
