FIELD: inorganic synthesis.

SUBSTANCE: xenon hexafluoride-boron trifluoride complex is prepared by fluorination of xenon difluoride in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride with gaseous fluorine at 298-373K into xenon hexafluoride, which is then complexed with boron trifluoride at 298K and molar ratio 1:2.2:1, respectively. Xenon hexafluoride-boron trifluoride complex can also be prepared in xenon tetrafluoride/anhydrous hydrogen fluoride system via fluorination with gaseous fluorine at 298-373K into xenon hexafluoride, which is then complexed at 298K and molar ratio 1:1.2:1, respectively. Complexation of xenon hexafluoride with boron trifluoride is further possible in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride at 298K and molar ratio 1:1. Above-indicated complex and compositions based thereon are used for preparing disinfection, sterilization, and detoxification agents, in sanitary and industrial hygiene, as food additives, in cosmetics, in broad-spectrum pharmaceutical compositions as well as for assisting in reuse of wastes. Pharmaceutical compositions contain xenon hexafluoride-boron trifluoride complex in the form of aqueous solution and are administered orally, by irrigation, inhalation, or application on damaged sites. When in use, all agents do not emit toxic gases and do not form toxic degradation products in disposal of venomous and especially toxic substances, in particular in reuse and detoxification of toxic emissions.

EFFECT: extended assortment of useful various-purpose inorganic agents, especially in disinfection, sterilization, and detoxification fields.
