FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a complex compound of xenon hexafluoride with manganese tetrafluoride composition 2XeF6×MnF4 and can be used for the synthesis of oxygen compounds of xenon as a basis for disinfection, sterilization and detoxification in the field of sanitation and medicine. Said method is carried out by interaction of an equimolar mixture of XeF2 and MnF3 powders, distributed in uniform portions, with fluorine in a 2:1 ratio in a nickel or monel metal reactor when the mixture is heated to a temperature of 350±10 °C at initial pressure in reactor 400±15 atm and exposure for at least five hours to achieve a pressure of 100±15 atm.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining the complex compound 2XeF6×MnF4 with high yield of the desired product.
