FIELD: polymer production.
SUBSTANCE: polyamide production process is conducted in presence of catalyst and characterized by that it involves polymerization of lactams or amino acid, or condensation of dicarboxylic acids with diamines catalyzed by solid titanium dioxide particles less than 100 nm in diameter. These particles may be coated with silicon dioxide-based compound.
EFFECT: increased viscosity of polyamide product.
