FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing polyamide from at least one diacid and at least one diamine. The method involves the following steps: (a) concentrating, by evaporating water from an aqueous salt solution of a diacid and diamine, obtained by mixing at least one diacid and at least one diamine in stoichiometric quantities, to obtain a homogeneous aqueous solution in which the weight concentration in water of dissolved compounds is higher than 85%, preferably higher than or equal to 86%, preferably higher than or equal to 87%, even more preferably higher than or equal to 88%, (b) polymerisation, with removal of water, to the desirable degree of polymerisation degree, including at least one step b1) for pressure polymerisation, wherein duration of step a) for concentration ranges from 20 to 120 minutes, and temperature θ at step a) is higher than or equal θc+3°C, where θc denotes temperature for separating the solid phase from the solution.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the process of producing polyamide by cutting duration of the polymerisation cycle in an autoclave.
