FIELD: settling payments by magnetic smart cards and shutting off gas supply in emergency situations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed meter designed for metering amount and flowrate of gas supplied to user at pressure up to 1 kPa has sensing element mounted in case on hydrodynamic supports for rotation about its axis; electronic device; gas quantity counter; electromagnetic valve mounted in inlet space of case; and valve control system. Sensing element signal take-off system has optocoupler. Sensing element shaft has slot of desired size for passing light beam. Sensing element and support are covered with conducting coating to prevent accumulation of electrostatic charge.
EFFECT: reduced size and measurement error, enhanced reliability, sensitivity, and protection against unauthorized manipulations with its readings.
