FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the flow measurement of electrically conductive liquids in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, in housing and communal services, heat and electricity, in heat meters with a water heating system. A ball flow meter of an electrically conductive liquid consists of a cylindrical body, a helical flow guide, a ball with zero buoyancy in the liquid and an annular channel formed between the inner surface of the body and the hub, which are made of dielectric material, four electrodes and an electronic converter of the ball rotation frequency into the frequency of the output pulse voltage, wherein the electronic converter contains two controlled current sources on field-effect transistors with insulated gates and induced channels connected in series with liquid resistances between the electrodes, controlled by the drain voltages of adjacent transistors to which the capacitors are connected.
EFFECT: increase in the dynamic range of measurement, ensuring the operability of the flow meter at very low liquid flow rates with guaranteed suppression of the influence of electrical and electromagnetic interference in real operating conditions of the flow meter and the ability to fix the initial operating mode of the electronic circuit without reducing its sensitivity in the low-frequency region of the conversion function.
