FIELD: experimental biology, medicine, experimental cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: about 2-3 min after subcutaneous injection of 0.1 ml 0.1%-adrenaline hydrochloride solution for rats an animal should be "lifted" onto decompression chamber height of 11000 m to carry out constant monitoring for electrocardiogram under conditions of height hypoxia. In case of observed horizontal decrease of ST segment by 1 mm and less against initial value for 2-3 min one should conclude upon ischemic myocardial lesion. The method is simple and available, it enables to model ischemic lesion during several minutes and it is indicated to match medicinal preparations of either cardioprotective or cardiotoxic properties.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of modeling.
