FIELD: thermoelectric energy conversion.

SUBSTANCE: proposed solid-state thermoelectric device has matrix of printed-circuit conducting and/or n and p semiconducting metal thermoelectric elements which form series-connected thermocouples. Device has at least pair of laminated components each assembled of supporting layer made of polymeric material and at least conducting layer and junction material layer disposed between two mentioned laminated polymeric components and designed for their reliable interconnection. Printed circuit is set up of layer of conducting material of laminated components and series-interconnected thermoelectric elements forming thermocouples having hot and cold junctions, respectively, on one end of device. Thermoelectric device is folded to form spiral or round configuration.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
