METHOD OF NEUTRALIZATION OF MATERIALS HAZARDOUS OR HAVING A HIGH ENERGY POTENTIAL AND A DEVICE FOR REALIZATION OF THE METHOD Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2244042 C2

FIELD: neutralization of explosives, ammunition and other substances dangerous or having high energy potential.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of neutralization of materials hazardous or having a high energy potential and also other dangerous substances, which with use of definite chemicals and with the help of both exothermic and endothermic reactions is necessary to transform into target safe final products. The method provides for feeding of a loose material and a subjected to neutralization materials into the internal space of the strong body, in which in a controlled conditions initiate a reaction of these being neutralized materials with formation of safe final products. From the neutralized materials and the loose materials in the strong body forma movable layer traveling top-down, in which processes of feeding of the loose material and subjecting to neutralization materials from one side and an exit of a mixture of the loose material with the safe final products produced as a result of a reaction - from the other side are in a dynamic equilibrium. At that the reaction is initiated inside this movable layer within some distance from its surface. The device contains a strong body supplied with a noise absorbing layer and is capable to stand considerable thermal and mechanical loadings, and also has a mechanism ensuring initiation of a reaction inside the movable layer only at some distance from its surface. The invention makes it possible to improve technology of neutralization of dangerous materials and substances due to keeping the device in continuous operation and ensuring an effective control over the reaction of neutralization of the corresponding materials.

EFFECT: the invention makes it possible to improve technology of neutralization of dangerous materials and substances.
