SUBSTANCE: invention refers to am munition clearance. Proposed is the method of ammunition burst by means of formation of the explosive agent layer on the inner surface of the deactivated ammunition with a case of the certain configuration and by means of burst of the explosive agent layer. The layer contains the first coat of the explosive agent formed around the external surface of the case, and the second coat of the explosive agent formed so as to surround the first coat, the explosive agent in the second coat having a higher detonation velocity than the explosive agent in the first coat. Both the first and second coats of the explosive agents are burst with a certain time interval by initiating a certain area of the second coat of the explosive agent. The method allows for low-cost burst of ammunition enabled by attenuation of strikes by flying fragments of the case.
