TWO-STROKE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2244148 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed two-stroke internal combustion engine contains cylinder with movable piston. Cylinder is provided with combustion chamber at one end and is connected with crankcase at other end. As a result, crank-case and combustion chamber are interconnected through at least one scavenging channel whose opening and closing is regulate by displacement piston. Carburetor is connected with crankcase through intake port. It has at least one air duct to deliver atmospheric air into at least one scavenging channel to provide preliminary scavenging of combustion chamber with atmospheric air and decrease losses of non-combusted air-fuel mixture through exhaust port and it is provided with fuel line to deliver fuel from carburetor into air duct to facilitate starting of engine.

EFFECT: facilitated starting of engine.
