FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention related to two-stroke crankcase internal combustion engine with scavenging in which fresh air is delivered into upper part of transfer channels for use as buffer for air/fuel mixture below. Proposed engine 1 has cylinder 2 with intake pipe 10 for air-fuel mixture and with number of transfer channels 20. Carburetor 12 is connected with intake pipe 10. Engine has also air supply branch pipe 24 which, at least partially, passes lower than carburetor 12 and it can be used connected with cylinder 2 lower than intake pipe 10. Air supply branch pipe 24 is furnished with limiting valve 25 which can be located higher than or lower than carburetor. Air channel 23, 22, 26, 21 is formed between air supply branch pipe 24 and upper part of transfer channels 20, air channel being opened by piston. Invention makes it possible to create engine with reduced consumption of fuel and emission of combustion products of such design that height o engine allows its use in hand motor tools.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
