FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: according to method, pneumatic device is connected with device for calibration testing. Gas is supplied through upper measuring nozzle mounted on arm. Initial measuring gap is set between edge of upper measuring nozzle and basic surface of mounting. Range of measurements is set by means of installation aids. Then intermediated dimensions to be measured are set and compared with indications of pneumatic device to be tested. Additional amount of gas is supplied through lower measuring nozzle mounted at the base. Positioning members are gripped between base surface of mounting and arm to define dimensions to be measured. Corresponding measuring members of preset sizes are installed between upper and lower measuring nozzles onto the base surface of mounting. Device for calibration testing of pneumatic devices intended for measuring linear dimensions has mounting with base surface, upper measuring nozzle mounted on arm, member for fixing arm and aid for setting measured dimensions. Device also has additional measuring nozzle mounted inside the base. Arm has flat base surface. Aid for setting measured dimensions has fixing members gripped between base surfaces of mounting and arm by means of arm fixing member, and removable measuring units mounted between upper and lower measuring nozzles on base surface of mounting.

EFFECT: improved precision of setting of initial and intermediate measuring gaps; improved precision of calibration.
