FIELD: quasi-crystal allow, in particular single-phase Al-Cu-Fe-based powdery alloy for antiwear additives, non-stick coatings, wear-resistant tools, etc.

SUBSTANCE: claimed alloy is obtained from aluminum, copper and iron powder mixture at ratio corresponding of its quasi-crystal phase field. Raw mixture is blended in air in presence of liquid volatilizable plasticizer to obtain homogeneous mixture and increase viscosity thereof with subsequent heating in oxygen-free atmosphere and holding.

EFFECT: alloy of improved quality.
