FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves pretreating skin and directly treating it with tampon wetted with liquid nitrogen. Skin is treated with alcohol-free cleaning and moistening means before beginning skin treatment. The treatment begins from cryodestruction applied to pathologic foci and pigmented lesions. Then, 2-3 test applications are carried out using tampon having specific surface relief pattern. Optimum cryogenic action mode is selected as one characterized by the specific tampon surface pattern imprint arising and vanishing in 1-3 s on turned-white frozen skin surface. The treatment is carried out first in skin surface areas most open to access and then in areas hard to access. Tampon sets of various diameters and relief pattern sizes are applied in turn. Each applicator is applied for 2-5 s in continuous mode. The procedure is repeated 3-5 times with each applicator. After having achieved uniform hyperemia, the cryogenic treatments are repeated in the same order. The session is continued within 40 min to 1 h. The session being over, the skin is differentially treated with feeding means and drugs. The treatment course is repeated in 1-3 months.
EFFECT: stable, marked and prolonged cosmetic effect; reduced risk of complications.
