FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out cryogenic destruction to lesion foci of greater than 2-3 cm in diameter. Each following destruction stage is carried out in 3-4 weeks later after cryonecrotic tissues having been rejected. Pathological focus dimensions are estimated at the beginning of each treatment stage. Treatment is carried out by destructing frozen ring-shaped peripheral zone in the pathologically changed zone of 3-5 mm large width. First, ring-shaped cryogenic applicator is used in repeated applications mode on mentioned areas with broad external part of the ring being applied, which outlines correspond to configuration of the zone under destruction and the internal one is close to circle in shape. Next to it, point-concentrated cryogenic applicator is used. Its diameter is equal to width of the zone under destruction. Freezing is carried out by sequentially moving the applicator in discrete mode along the zone boundary increasing freezing exposure time.
EFFECT: enabled cryogenic destruction differentiation depending on injured zone depth; healing wounds without cicatrix formation.
