, wherein R1 and R2 mean independently hydrogen atom or (C1-C4)-alkyl in the presence of (C1-C4)-carboxylic acid salt in polar solvent medium. Method provides preparing the end compound for a single stage using available reagents. Also, invention relates to a method for preparing fungicide benzophenone compound of the formula (IV):
