FIELD: cooling tower water catcher.
SUBSTANCE: the cooling tower water catcher has banks of volume cells, the banks are made in the form of sectors uniformly placed inside the cooling tower, the cells are made of polymeric threads interconnected by extrusion with formation of a cellular structure having the profile of an equilateral triangle, the banks are made of horizontal rows of cells, in the adjacent rows the profiles face the opposite sides with the vertices, the banks are installed in the cooling tower with formation of inner and outer concentric zones inclined to the vertical axis of the cooling tower at an angle of 5 to 10 deg., the size of the sides of the cell profile makes up 20 to 100 mm, and the thread thickness - 0.5 to 5.0 mm. The banks of the inner and outer zones may installed with adjoining of the respective end faces, or the banks of the outer respective end faces, or the banks of the outer zone may be positioned above the banks of the inner zone.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of moisture catching, moisture separation and removal of separate moisture.
