FIELD: water catching and removal from chimney-type and mechanical draft towers, water circulation systems of industrial enterprises and electric stations. SUBSTANCE: set of water catcher of water-cooling tower includes stack of corrugated sheets interjoined along protrusions of corrugations. The latter are produced bent with rectilinear inclined inlet and outlet parts and central section and inlet and outlet sections. Corrugations have such shape , length of inclined inlet part of sheet amounts to 1.1-1.25 length of inclined output part. Inclination angle of above-mentioned parts with the vertical is 43-48 degrees, central, inlet and outlet sections are made vertical. EFFECT: high- efficiency of moisture removal, high reliability of discharge of separated water film. 6 dwg
