FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices intended for catching moisture carried out from cooling tower. Water catcher of cooling tower has grade which is made up of vertical curvature strips 1, 2 installed on rods 3, 4. Mounted on aforesaid rods and between strips are spacing members 7. Water catcher is assembled of separate sections 8, 9 in which strips are arranged mirror-like in adjacent sections. According to one version, strips are installed in middle part of grate so that convex parts of their profile are adjoining each other, and according to another version aforesaid strips are facing each other by their concave parts. Water catcher can be made of combination of aforesaid sections. This embodiment allows for increasing rigidity of water catcher structure. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg
