FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: root harvesting machine has frame with carrier wheels, share, screen formed from longitudinal rods, and drive. Share and screen are arranged in succession. Longitudinal rods are kinematically coupled with their rear part to drive shaft through eccentric pins arranged out of phase with respect to one another and are mounted with their front part with longitudinal guides on spindle with rollers for performing reciprocation motions in plane parallel to ground surface and rigidly and alternatively fixed to shares. Beaters with blades bent in rearward direction are rigidly mounted in gaps between rods on single shaft.
EFFECT: improved quality of separation of roots from soil and top parts, reduced draft and decreased loss of product.
