FIELD: crude oil treatment.
SUBSTANCE: in particular, invention relates to demulsifiers for destroying stable water-oil emulsions formed by crude oils having different composition. Demulsifier preparation procedure involves condensation of industrial-grade isononylphenol or mixture of monoalkylphenol fraction C4-C9 with formalin in presence of catalyst at heating, phenol-to-formaldehyde molar ratio being 1:1.5. Condensation product is diluted in hot state in high-boiling hydrocarbon solvent, after which product is subjected to oxyethylation in presence of alkali catalyst to achieve content of oxyethyl groups 49-53% and to form target product. To prepare commercial form, product is dissolved in a mixed solvent at 3:1 ratio, mixed solvent preferably being comprised of methanol and butyl cellosolve at 1:1 ratio or methanol and brake fluid at 5:1 ratio.
EFFECT: extended resource of demulsifying agents for destroying crude oil emulsions.
