FIELD: equipment for fine grinding of material.
SUBSTANCE: tubular multiple-chamber mill has casing made in the form of vessel mounted on frame. Casing has cones at its ends and is divided by diaphragms into cylindrical chambers incorporating milling bodies. Mill is further provided with charging and discharge devices and drive. Casing is oriented in vertical plane and fixed on supporting platform hung on flexible binders. Supporting platform is connected with drive through vertical shafts provided with eccentrics and balancing weights. Lower part of casing is connected with frame by means of flexible tension members. Charging and discharge devices are equipped with flexible pipelines. Ratio of radii of upper cone bases is from 1:1.1 to 1:3, of lower cone bases from 3:1 to 1.5:1; ratio of casing cylindrical part height to radius is from 10:1 to 2:1. Diaphragm openings are made in the form of cones with cone generatrix aperture from the top to the bottom from 5 deg to 30 deg relative to vertical axis, with diameter of upper base of conical opening of lower diaphragm being selected in the range of 3-10 mm.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced material usage, decreased sizes and reduced power consumption for milling process.
